Was bedeuten diese Zahlen?

[chan] general
Jun 4 02:02 [raw]

Das sind die sheiße Zahlen für den Ost-Deutschen Komaraden.

[chan] general
Jun 4 10:01 [raw]

Mich interessiert nicht ob du mit irgendjemandem ein Problem hast, sondern was diese Zahlen zu bedeuten haben und was man damit machen kann!!!

[chan] general
Jun 4 12:18 [raw]

Ganz einfach! Man können diese Zahlen addieren, multiplizieren, logaritmen und trigonometrichen funtionen rechnen, zum beispiel, 7551+ 85770 93321 62868*90141 5666984388 ln( 19838) 9.8953 cos(48212) .4275 ln (60674*79355+21618) 22.2949 und so weiter!

It is just random numbers effectively distributed as instructions for diplomatic staff in certain embassies for a specific country. We don't give a shit about which bunch of fuckwits are directing the attention on their special codes, as clearly they don't understand operations security.

[chan] illuminati
Jun 5 12:00 [raw]

It seems to me that they understand it and implement it perfectly. Just like all other "bunch of fuckwits" do exactly the same by running numberstations on publicly accessible frequencies.

[chan] general
Jun 5 15:16 [raw]

Or, maybe, the poster is a crackpot who is amusing himself by posting random numbers so he can feel happy about the fact that some simpletons as sitting and wasting their time trying to find the secret message therein.

[chan] general
Jun 6 09:58 [raw]

I'll rephrase this for the hard of thinking : They are running a numbers station in the most monitored chan on BM. If they had any sense, they'd run the numbers in a private chan, and we wouldn't have so many people trying to decode the extra retarded secret messages.

BM-2cUdopFfxN1i5Dm2cyxaxnph4BnAoZ5GTX
Jun 6 10:45 [raw]

I'll rephrase this for the hard of thinking : For decades one-time-pad encrypted messages are broadcasted on public frequencies. They are broadcasted in this very moment: http://priyom.org/number-stations/station-schedule/ Nobody ever decrypted even single one of them. So, are you sure that "If they had any sense, they'd run the numbers in a private frequency, and we wouldn't have so many people trying to decode the extra retarded secret messages." ? Your undereducation is frightening.

[chan] general
Jun 6 12:12 [raw]

That is not what even the incompetent Five Eyes recommends for secrecy of OTP. Furthermore, they full well know the timeline of certain messages should not be counted as secure on a public channel. You aren't even up to date with the 90s.

[chan] GCHQ
Jun 6 12:30 [raw]

Once again I repeat: Right now OTP messages are exchanged all around the world. And if this works for intelligence services it will work for me.

[chan] general
Jun 6 12:38 [raw]

One Time Pad encryption is unbreakable if keys are kept secret, OK? We are talking about deniability here. Sending this kind of message on a public channel is a perfect scenario.

[chan] find-new-chan
Jun 6 12:41 [raw]

Every message of numberstation is public.

[chan] general
Jun 6 12:42 [raw]

Only for a certain time period. And no, it is not perfect if you are announcing what to submit for cryptanalysis.

[chan] GCHQ
Jun 6 12:45 [raw]

Which points to number station being run by people less competent than those fuckers at GCHQ

[chan] illuminati
Jun 6 12:50 [raw]

There is no such thing as an cryptanalysis of one-time-pad encrypted messages.

[chan] general
Jun 6 12:54 [raw]

Cryptanalysis won't help here even in theory. The length of the key is the same as the message and the key is random and used only once. No analysis can help here.

[chan3] general
Jun 6 12:58 [raw]

Tough it is possible to analyze length, time of sending, periodicity etc. That's why a large part of number stations' traffic is a spam as they try to conceal patterns.

[chan] NSA
Jun 6 13:01 [raw]

Contrary. Number stations have strict schedules. Read and learn: http://priyom.org/number-stations/station-schedule

[chan3] general
Jun 6 13:08 [raw]

Exactly, so you can't tie ther activity to certain IRL events and make predictions based on that. During WWII both Allies and Axis could predict enemy attack without knowing enemy codes, only by increased/decreased radio chatter.

[chan] general
Jun 6 13:27 [raw]

> traffic is a spam You mean "padding". "Spam" is unsolicited bulk communication of a commercial nature. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Padding_(cryptography)

[chan3] general
Jun 6 13:36 [raw]

Yes, thanks for the correction.

[chan] general
Jun 6 16:10 [raw]

The culprits have anonymity and deniability, with the added bonus that it spams the chan with shit that no-one else wants.

[chan] general
Jul 1 07:43 [raw]

Ok, so if you have actually studied cryptanalysis and cryptography you can assess if this advice is the crap it is. Like I have.

[chan] general
Jul 1 10:03 [raw]

I don't think you understand the concept of security lifecycles. The secret services have as much time as they want to deal with it. Assuming that you are still alive when they decode, they can still act to deal with you, or if not, your descendants.

[chan] general
Jul 1 10:20 [raw]

One Time Pad encryption is unbreakable if keys are kept secret. It's not difficult, it's impossible, it can't be done.

[chan] general
Jul 1 11:23 [raw]

OTP is solid.

[chan] general
Jul 1 16:14 [raw]

Right, as long as the key is truly random and used only once, it's unbreakable because you could conceivably produce *any* message with the same number of characters from the given ciphertext. However, "truly random" and "used only once" is hard to do in practice. (Not impossible, though.) Assuming you generated a truly random key, you meet in person (because if you had a secure way to transfer keys, you could just use that to transfer your plaintext message), and give and/or receive the other person's key. It better be long or else you'll only get to send a few (or one) short messages before having to meet in person again. One time, spies were forced to re-use their OTP keys, presumably due to being unable to meet in person again, and America decrypted the messages because of this.
