randomize exchange of bitmessage objects

[chan] bitmessage

Is there a way to randomize the order in which a peer sends objects to other peers, as well as sending to connected peers one by one in random order? If the order of peers chosen is not random when sharing objects, wouldn't this pose an elevated risk that an attacker might observe and deduce the origin of new messages?

The new networking code already does this, both sending and receiving. For receiving, it randomises both the connection order as well as the order of the objects in each request. Peter Surda Bitmessage core developer
