We've been complaining to Peter Surda for several years that the Bitmessage web site is inaccessible from tor. SEVERAL YEARS! Peter Surda just gives excuses, FOR SEVERAL YEARS. This almost guarantees they will log the IP of everyone who downloads Bitmessage. Otherwise they would make the site accessible from tor. Their little captcha ninja doesn't work -- so you will need to use clearnet and expose your IP to them. WHO IS PETER SURDA?

I downloaded bitmessage using tor, no problem with it: tor browser to the main page, and download can be done with "torify git ......" for example
