Since upgrading yesterday to 6.3.2, Bitmessage is not connecting. (I am using Debian, running from source). Have the initial connection addresses been changed? Here is a typical excerpt from debug.log: -------------------- 2018-02-15 09:50 - ERROR - SOCKS DNS resolving failed Traceback (most recent call last): File "... .../src/helper_bootstrap.py", line 85, in dns; ip = sock.resolve("bootstrap" + str(port) + ".bitmessage.org") File "... .../src/socks/__init__.py", line 458, in resolve; _orgsocket.connect(self, (self.__proxy[1], portnum)) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/socket.py", line 228, in meth; return getattr(self._sock,name)(*args) error: [Errno 111] Connection refused

This is more of a warning than an error, on its own it just means that one of the servers listed in DNS bootstrap is unreachable, or your tor connection is slow. Let it run for a couple of hours, it will connect and learn improved connectivity. If however you're using SOCKS authentication, that does not work in 0.6.3.2, in which case either wait until it's fixed, or downgrade to 0.6.1. Peter Surda Bitmessage core developer

I added socks authentication. The initialisation was missing but looks like I did implement the actual protocol already. I don't have a good way of testing it. If I add debugging to tor, it says it accepts the authentication. If anyone whose setup requires authentication, I'd be very happy for feedback. v0.6 branch as usual. Can you provide a link to this latest release? (This link is 5 days old: https://github.com/Bitmessage/PyBitmessage/releases/tag/0.6.3.2)

These changes are only available as a source, by getting the v0.6 branch from github. I will do a cumulative fix release in a couple of days (either 0.6.3.3 or 0.6.4, not decided yet). Peter Surda Bitmessage core developer

I can run source with no problems. Can you explain how to "get the v0.6 branch from github"?
