Every Time I try to subscribe to the Dev-talk PML :- BM-2D9QKN4teYRvoq2fyzpiftPh9WP9qggtzh I never get an encryption key to send out a post. Is it dead? Am I doing something Wrong? Just do "subscribe to mailing list" and add the above BM address yeah? Its never worked for me in years of trying(!)

Yes. I think it's dead.

I have subscribed, it appears in my subscription list, no errors there. > I never get an encryption key to send out a post. Only the subscruption creator can send messages. You are not supposed to get the private keys for subscriptions, its all right.

The mailing list is dead, the guy who ran it lost the keys. Peter Surda Bitmessage core developer

Ahh MANY Thanks for that Peter. Should save a lot of frustration to capable newbies that might be put-off from joining in on Dev work. Please amend the github project to reflect this dead status. Obviously you do have full access rights to that. If I remember correctly, you have no access to the original wiki to correct the entries referring to the dead PML there? I do like the (usually) high signal to noise ratio and quality of information posted on the open Bitmessage chan (here). Perhaps chan subscription instructions to get here can be included as an alternative to be newcomer - friendly.
