revenge is a dish best served by Jesus Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. - Romans 12:19 Don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it. - 1 Peter 3:9

Can we let all these toxic sand-nigger memes die out already? The whole "do whatever you want and still be forgiven" bs is more destructive than the homos.

What you don't get is this: the creator of heaven and earth forgave the very men who murdered him. They could kill the body but they could not kill his true form. He gave this advice about forgiving abuses to those whom he called to reign with him. Those who are not called to reign with him cannot understand why a man would forgive wicked enemies. Why then? Why are the Saints called to forgive atrocious insult and abuse? When the Saints are raised from the dead and come to execute justice no one in heaven or earth will be able to question their judgment. The time will come when the Saints are not called to forgive anymore but rather to avenge. Their judgments will be law as if they were handed down by God himself. It is about timing. To every purpose under heaven their is a season. For you see God sends the rain on both the just and the unjust. He gives the breath of life to both the righteous and the wicked. Are you better than he? When the wicked are ripe for punishment then it will be time to punish them. When their treason is absolute and complete then the call will come for the army of Ezekiel 37 to stand up and repay. Petty and personal vengeance are not in the character of the enlightened Saints. If the Saints administer vengeance it is as an army, as an organism, executing vengeance by law, not by personal motive. This is why Jesus said if a man smite you on one cheek, turn the other. He did not say hand over your children to be beaten. He did not say to tolerate sodomites who are after your children. In that case the Saint would be required to use violence to protect the innocent. And this is how we know almost everyone in the world is wicked and godless. Nobody is doing anything to protect the children from the sodomites in power. An occasional real man stands up to fight, and the whole society cheers when the sodomite powers murder him for daring to resist. So you calling the advice of Jesus "destructive" is very misguided. Jesus was referring to personal vengeance, not lawful vengeance done according to due process of law. Lawful vengeance is in fact required by Jesus: "...what measure ye mete shall be measured back to you again." This is the Lex Talionus, the foundation of the Law of God in both the Old and New Testaments, and the foundation of the English and European common law. If you forgive men, you have the right to expect forgiveness. If you take personal vengeance, then others have the right to take personal vengeance against you. In sum, the idea that all vengeance is wrong, is a lie. National vengeance and lawful vengeance are required for peace. It is personal vengeance that is wrong. This is why we have magistrates, who of course are derelict in their duty and will be objects of God's vengeance. "Vengeance is mine... I will repay."
